執業婦產科多年，專業知識透過每年學會的研習而增長，但擁有所謂的豐富經驗大多是來自於病人的啟發。
我相信視病猶親，但這不只是一種態度，堅持這種理念，其實有教學相長的效果。 門診中病人的主訴，在適當的導引下，能夠容易描繪病情的輪廓。與病人閒話家常 的對答中，讓我更了解病人的家庭與工作狀況。加上嚴謹的理學檢查及精密的儀器檢測，可以擬定如自己的家人般，以病人為出發點的治療計劃。
有時遇到複雜的病情，我會作筆記，寫在小紙條上，待下診搜尋資料後，再詳細向病人說明。換句話說，病人也是我的老師。 疾病的病況詭譎多變，有時像假面騎士 ，必須謹慎以對，揭開假面具，顯露真面目對症下藥。
面對病人，面對疾病，我學會謙卑。
註：門診診療時間會因為病人提問的問題多寡，個別病情不同而有長短之分。感謝所有耐心等候的病人，我們會致力於改善掛號及候診的排序，優化候診時間。
Whilst my professional knowledge updates each year with various conferences and seminars, I owe most of my clinical knowledge to my patients.
"Treating your patient like your own family" may sound like a cliché, but in fact I have found it helpful to my own learning. Chatting to my patients like a family often teases out personal circumstances or predicaments that may not be apparent in their chief complaints. Treatment plans can then be personalised in addition to the information obtained from the history, examination and investigation.
I have grown a habit of writing down notes on complex cases during my busy outpatient clinics. When i get home I would do further reading so I could tackle the problem next time with better understanding. In other words, my patients are my teachers. Diseases have many layers of masquerade. And prudence is the strategy that I take to unveil the true culprit layer by layer.
Doctors are always humbled by diseases and their patients.
p.s. The waiting time during outpatient clinic can vary due to the complexity and circumstances of each patient. Thank you all who have been so patient with me. We are currently working on optimising waiting time by reviewing the registration process and user experiences.
